To say the past 18 days have been a whirlwind is an understatement!
The tornados that hit western Kentucky on May 26, 2024 were too close for comfort. We can’t begin to imagine the fear and anxiety that the locals faced, since the tornado followed close to the same path as the deadly December 2021 tornado. We are so thankful that Dawson Springs didn’t take a direct hit this time, but are heartbroken for those that were in its path. The path was only a couple of miles north of us.
Below are some of the pictures from the past two weeks. We are so thankful for the volunteers that were here during the tornado, as well as those that have come to help so far!
