About Us

Fuller Center Disaster ReBuilders is a 501(c)(3) Christian organization dedicated to serving the victims of major disasters in the United States. We were organized in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in 2005 and have supported rebuilding in most of the major hurricanes since then. We serve uninsured (no flood insurance) and low-income homeowners using volunteer labor to make our rebuilding effort more affordable. We’re financed from donations and grants.

CURRENT LOCATION

Fuller Center Disaster ReBuilders currently has two operations. After Hurricanes Laura and Delta, we set up a site in Sulphur, LA. After tornados ripped through Kentucky we opened a site in Madisonville, KY.

We are rebuilding in the communities around Sulphur, LA since being devasted by Hurricanes Laura and Delta, August and September 2020. Additionally, folks here were impacted by the Winter Storm of 2021 and a record-breaking rainfall on May 17, 2021.

An EF4 tornado tore across four states in four hours the night of Dec. 10 – devastating communities in Arkansas, Missouri, Tennessee, and Kentucky. We are concentrating our efforts in the hard-hit areas of Barnsley County and Dawson Springs, Kentucky. THE NEED IS STILL GREAT! Rebuilding is underway! Please continue to pray for these families! AND PLEASE COME!   We’re operating out of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Madisonville, KY.

We’ll provide the construction leadership, tools and projects — and you provide the energy and passion for serving. If you would like to contact Fuller Center Disaster ReBuilders to be part of a project, contact Lyn Wilson.

Please donate what you can — every little bit helps.

Your tax-free donation will help us return displaced families to their homes.
