At the end of March, we said our “temporary” goodbyes to an amazing group of volunteers. Weaverland Disaster Services (WDS) served with us in the Dawson Springs area of Kentucky from the beginning of November through the end of March! They even made a few trips to Clarksville TN to help a couple of homeowners during their time here!
This was not the first time WDS has served with FCDR in Kentucky, so we are forever grateful to them for returning this past winter!! The progress made here has been nothing short of amazing!!
Below are just a few of the homes built by or worked on by these WDS crews. Now, families that were once displaced now have a safe place to lay their heads and raise their children.
We are all so thankful for their willingness to serve with us!!
