The last two weeks in Western Kentucky have been glorious! Not only was the weather mild, the rain seemed to only come when it was convenient, and this season’s mud farms are already planted!

Our volunteers made the most of their time outside, framing up two new homes, and continuing to make progress on the others. Our Weaverland Disaster volunteers have gotten several homes close to completion, and we should button those up in the next week or so.
Aside from the mud there was little to slow us down. Our teams were full of energy, and the Fuller staff worked extra hard to make sure there was plenty to keep everyone busy. We even managed to sneak a new footer in between rain days! That will be new build #10 for the winter.
Very excited to be at the final punch list point for our first four builds, and I’m sure our homeowners are as well! They’ve been displaced for three full years, some even moving from place to place, looking for somewhere to settle down. It’s time to bring them home sweet home for good, thanks to all the generous helpers guiding their journey and doing what they can to give these families a great start to their next chapter!
