Our Americorp volunteers come to us from all over the country, leaving their families and the comforts of home behind to work with us and serve the communities around us. It is both a personal and professional pleasure to get to know them and lead their teams.
Today, one of their group turned 23 and my wife and I helped her celebrate with some frosted cupcakes and a few candles. The lighting of the candles turned into a group effort as we needed to stay outdoors due to Covid and it was a windy day. The pictures say it all. Happy Birthday, Morgan! Neil Pettifor/FCDR LA
