These past two weeks have been filled with many of our friends. Kairos Carpenters came down for round two with their leaders Larry and Cheryl Winger. Both of them have made the trip down to Southwest Louisiana three times in the last five months. This group has been fantastic, following us to other disasters time after time. As always, they have proven to be a great team and have gotten us one step closer to completing a few of our homes.
On top of that, a smaller group of our friends came down from Indiana hoping to put a dent in the work that needs to be done. They, too, have followed us all over, lending a hand in the rebuild. It was a real treat to have Mike Bultimeier, Scott Dewalt, Dennis Dubay, and Tim Mihalik come down here for two whole weeks when we needed them most.
