We enjoyed a Christmas Party with leadership from the Brethren Disaster Ministries this evening hosted by the Pamlico County Disaster Recovery Coalition (PCDRC) who has been a true partner with us the last year and 9 months rebuilding storm-damaged homes in their county. We’ve had so many great partners helping in Pamlico County- The Brethren Disaster Ministries, The Call to Build, Fuller Center Disaster Rebuilder volunteers, SBP, Red Cross, Camp Caroline, Mt Zion Baptist Church, Pamlico County government, Catholic Charities, United Way, Baptists on Mission, Week of Compassion, World Renew, and I apologize if I’ve missed some. At the end of this year, we will have rebuilt 55 homes in Pamlico County with over $1 million going directly towards construction. We hope to rebuild approximately 20 more homes in Pamlico County in the first half of 2022 and it couldn’t be done without the amazing partnerships we’ve had in Pamlico.
In the last 3 years Fuller Center Disaster Rebuilders will have rebuilt 110 homes in Eastern North Carolina and it’s been a blessing to be able to serve those families in need and meet so many fantastic volunteers and homeowners. Rusty Cready/FCDR Operations Director NC
