We just finished Ms. Connie’s home today in James City, NC. James City is right across the bridge from New Bern so close to Cornerstone Church where our volunteers stay. Ms. Connie had roof damage with Hurricane Florence. Fortunately, insurance covered the roof repair but nothing internal. There was also a pretty big safety concern with the corrosion on the wrought iron handrails on the front porch so we had to fix that.
