We started the rebuild on AJ and Charlene’s home in Havelock NC around 6 months ago. While we haven’t had a consistent flow of volunteers; we were able to wrap it up today due to the 8 or so volunteer groups that were able make it to eastern NC over the last 6 months. Just wanted to share some of the final pictures.
Thanks to Purple Heart Homes for putting in a new roof and making some major structural repairs.

We have a few weeks of volunteers scheduled to come over the summer but still have some open weeks. We have two major rebuilds underway in Pamlico County which is east of New Bern. Both homeowners have not been able to move back into their homes since Hurricane Florence damaged them almost 3 years ago (both got new roofs done by volunteers earlier this month). We are hoping and praying we can get them back into their homes in August but no later than the 3 year anniversary of Florence which was in September 2018. Rusty Cready/Operations Director FCDR NC
