It is great to have this youth group from Bethesda Methodist Church in Swedesboro NJ this week in New Bern NC to help rebuild homes that are still damaged from Hurricane Florence (2 years ago this coming September). Joshua DeWalt is the youth minister leading this group. Many of the friends and family of the DeWalt family have made several trips to support the New Bern/Craven County area over the last several years. We can’t thank them enough!
Thanks to Cornerstone Church for continuing to open their doors for volunteers to help our community.
Early March was the last time we had a group of volunteers and we’ve implemented additional procedures to help ensure their safety but also ask that we all pray for this group’s safety here and as they travel back to NJ at the end of the week as they do God’s work.
