The past 8 months have been a challenging experience for everyone, including our volunteers and construction staff. As COVID-19 shut down the nation (and travel plans for our volunteers) our small team of two kept going. Aaron and Neil have worked hard to ensure our homeowners were taken care of. We normally complete homes fairly quickly. Due to the pandemic, this would not be the case for 2020.
We believe that God gives us just what we need, right when we need it most. Brian Gioe spent a few weeks with us, just as we needed his skills the most. As he was departing, some of FCDR’s faithful long time volunteers were able to make the trip to Panama City!! Within a week, all of our work was complete!! Within 48 hours of finish the last 3 homes, the tool trailers and trucks were packed and on their way to the next destination!

Scott DeWalt
have been volunteering with FCDR for years, long before Aaron and I became involved. Scott’s son Josh has become a familiar face as well! We truly can’t thank these guys enough for always being there for us!! WE LOVE OUR VOLUNTEERS!
